When I was employed in Apac Customer Service, the job that I handled there was at the provider care section of http://www.hound.com. We were trained 2 months to master the account. We were taught to learn the basic principle of insurance like how to handle benefits, claims and elgibility. Our focus was to handle calls from providers, to give them the correct information.Being a Provider care for http://www.hound.com became a very hard task for me but for that 3 years that I was in this job I really learn a lot. Multitasking, Analytical thinking, and Problem Solving. i also learned how to be patient as a call center representative. My communication skills in english tremendously improved. Being a provider care is a job where you can learn to be a competitive individual.The only problem that I encountered almost everyday were irate callers.city of portland jobs, portland newspaper,city of portland,nike jobs,portland state university, jobdango,monster,portland news Just get idea from this. Even if you will handle professional doctors, nurses and claims specialists they are still human beings, if they feel that you are not doing your job well, they are very straightforward to tell you that you can’t help them .They will ask to speak to your supervisor.Providers calling for claim status are irate callers. These are the people who are already very upset about the system of http://www.hound.com. They want there claims be paid. And even if you already prioritize there concern, they will keep calling you each and everyday. They will not stop until they get what they wanted. To be paid.This kind of job as I experience is very stressful. But this is the job that I really miss. I’ve been to different call centers but this job was really the job I will never forget, because this was my first job where I learned a lot of things about being a good call center representative.The reason why I quit this job is because of the compensation. http://www.hound.com as a client of Apac Customer Service can’t give other benefits aside from your low monthly salary of 14,000 pesos, insurance and other required government benefits. The bosses were not generoud enough to add incentives or spiffs for their employee.But other than the compensation, provider care job in http://www.hound.com is still worth a try. You will learn a lot here.
